All people have spiritual needs. There is a growing body of evidence indicating that spiritual practices are associated with better health and wellbeing. Spiritual needs and concerns usually relate to what we call the "big" questions of life. All of these questions relate to spiritual needs, concerns and resources. All people ask these questions during their lives, especially when they or someone they love are sick or in crisis. Spiritual resources are practices, beliefs, objects and/or relationships that people often turn to for help in times of crisis or concern. Both The Missional College and the School of Community Ministry provide programs that enable missional Christians to provide spiritual ministry to individuals, groups and communities that generates personal and social transformation through the power of the gospel (Romans 1:16).
