Racial and ethnic groups differentiate from other groups on the basis of language, ancestry, history, society, culture, nation or social treatment within their residing area. They come in a variety of types and sizes - from rural tribes to urban ethnic enclaves to hybrid ethnicities like "Hispanic-American" to global panethnic groups such as those in Africa: Afro-Asiatic, Niger-Congo, Nilo-Saharan, Khoisan, Austronesian, and Indo-European. In many areas of the world conflict within and between groups continues to erupt as racial and ethnic groups fight over relative deprivation, disrespect of cultural norms, past harms, biased perceptions, and outright competition. The Missional College @ Missional University offers programs that equip Christian believers to join the mission of God in the world by fostering redemption and reconciliation among individuals and cultural groups in their community, country and around the globe.
