Planned Giving and Endowment Gifts to MU are managed by the Missional University Foundation for the benefit of the University. The foundation was founded in 2018 as a not-for-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) status separate from Missional University.
Each year, staff from the Foundation visits campus to conduct training in using these accounts. If you are an administrator or authorized signer on a foundation account, we strongly recommend that you attend this training. The Advancement Team works closely with the Office of Finance and Bursar to administer some scholarships connected to philanthropic gifts. If you have questions regarding the eligibility requirements of a particular scholarship or connecting with donors, including student “thank you” messages, please contact the Advancement Team
