About the Department
The advent of digital media technology has brought great possibilities for advancing the good news of Jesus and great perils for users. Students with this degree will be highly trained for professional digital media production, cybersecurity and/or information technology management. Learning from experienced and involved professors, they will acquire skills in using digital technology to communicate the good news, while guarding against both network issues and cyber hacking. They will also learn how to remain current in their field of expertise as they continue to serve in the mission of God.
Areas of Study
The Department of Digital Media Technologies offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of areas:
Animation: that prepares students to create engaging and communicative animated messages for the sake of missional life.
Digital Graphics: that prepares students to produce professional quality digital graphics that can be used in a range of missional ministry.
Drawing & Painting: that prepares students to do artwork as a means to express the human situation in light of God's transcendent beauty for the purpose of communicating his messsage of redemption to all people.
Cybersecurity: that prepares students to stay on the cutting edge of cybertechnology to sustain and protect individual, ministry and corporate users.
Information Technology Management: that prepares students to understand, use and create new information technologies and manage information systems, especially for use in the missional task of moving the gospel into areas not yet touched.
