About Gretchen Roderick

Gretchen Roderick comes to Missional University with 19 years of experience living abroad in South Asia and Southeast Asia. During those years she led training events on prayer and missional ministry and facilitated spiritual direction among women in multiple countries. She also worked with expatriate Christian workers facilitating seasons of prayer, bible studies and reflection. As a retreat planner and facilitator, she handled event logistics organizing various conferences and co-supervising team members. With her training in spiritual direction and participation in the 19th annotation of Ignatian Spirituality, Gretchen offers a unique international and intercultural perspective of spiritual direction to members of the Missional University family in her role as Associate University Chaplain.
