The Institute for the Study of Religion equips followers of Jesus, churches, and church leaders to understand and engage with the religious diversity now found in America and around the world in practical ways that lead to evangelism and Church planting.

• You gain an appreciation for the ways humankind seeks after God, the assumptions they bring to that quest and what it means to engage lovingly and knowledgeably with different religious communities..
• You learn to create environments in which you build relationships with people from other religious backgrounds, understand their assumptions and speak relevantly into their worldview.
• You also learn to enter the worldview of other religions in order to incarnate the redeeming presence of Jesus.

We emphasize practical involvement with people of other faiths as an essential component of deeper learning.
