PCC3130 Pastoral Care Skills

Basic skills for the caring Christian to live out their passion for Christ and their ability to assist the lost and the lonely, the bruised and the battered, the broken and the bored. Particular attention will be given to the foundational skills of listening, the development of empathy and feedback.
How This Course Benefits Students:
The course is intended to be both an introduction as well as providing foundational skill sets. Christian in every walk in life, find themselves in conversations with people who are hurting.
Why This Course Is Important:
Friends and family are the first people that individuals seek when they are going through a crisis. When the hurting does seek the guidance of a professional; it is imperative that the professional should be equipped with a sharper set of skills.
